For creating international, multi-disciplinary theater and facilitating creative community outreach programs that celebrate cultural differences and promote human rights (GOS).

Community Building:

First Nations Development Institute

For the Reclaiming Native Truth project that explores public perceptions about Native Americans and empowers Native people to correct dominant negative narratives to achieve equity, inclusion and policy change (Project).            


Housing Justice Center

For providing dedicated advocacy and expert legal services that preserve and expand affordable housing for low income individuals and families in our community (GOS). $20,000

International Institute of MN

For welcoming New Americans by providing housing, job training, counseling and educational programs that ensure successful adjustment to American life (Capital).


Family Tree Clinic

For cultivating a healthy community through comprehensive sexual health care and education, and their leadership in LGBTQ health and wellness services (GOS).



North American Traditional Indigenous Food Systems

For creation of an Indigenous Food Hub that promotes culinary education and food access, and improves Native health by reviving indigenous foodways (Start-up Capital).


African American AIDS Task Force

For providing culturally specific prevention, education and services to people of African descent who are living with or at risk of HIV/AIDS (GOS).
