In 2020, as part of a planning and restructuring process, the HRK Foundation Board of Directors made the decision to sunset the MAHADH Fund on 31 December 2020. Additional elements of this restructure included significantly higher funding in 2020 in response to the challenges of Covid-19, and “Farewell” pledges made to long-time community partners to help ease the effects of the sunsetting decision.
The MAHADH Fund was founded as the Mary Andersen Hulings Foundation in 1962 by Betty and Bill Hulings (Mary Andersen Hulings and A.D. Hulings). Betty and Bill’s commitment to our community and their generous spirit inspired MAHADH’s Directors for decades and will continue to guide HRK Foundation’s Board and Members into the future.
